the current state of international affairs is similar to the last twenty or so years.the US remains an israeli ally and aside from anyone having a personal connection to pakistan here, i recommend a silence and a wait, coming from the US.
(because i’m so so smart about international politics)
some here know more than i.
there are more ties in the middle east than most can comprehend.
i can’t comprehend local here in the US most of the time.
i recommend a silence and a wait, coming from the US.
I’d recommend more of a silence and a watch, from the US and others. North Pakistan is a very strategic area, it would be against best practice to let that area slip away further, by that I mean go down a dangerous route with religious fundamentalists. After the past 8 years it might seem a tad suspect to be saying this but that doesn’t mean a new admin should appease whatever happens or give Swat Valley the benefit of the doubt. It’s in the best interests of the human race to keep governance and law secular, especially when there are nuclear possibilites.
