A lot of good stuff being listed here. I’m pretty hit or miss about LCD Soundsystem (have both albums). And I managed to get someone to go out and buy RHCP’s One Hot Minute; their best album, imo.
I can’t get enough of the song “Someone Great” from LCDSS
I’ve also been listening to Bedlam in Goliath from the Mars Volta. Not my favorite album of theirs, but their new drummer is amazing talented. I’m trying to decide if I want to see them in Tulsa on Tuesday. I’m also still trying to decide if I will see Ministry/Meshuggah on Wednesday.

Trying to hold in my jealousy…
They only came to Montreal once. And that was when they opened for NIN in 95. I’m pretty sure I was the only PWEI fan in the place. I was up against the rail singing along with everyone else looking at me like I was crazy.
I was thinking of crossing the pond when they reformed a few years ago, but it was way too expensive. And then I thought they would just tour North America and I’d check them out when they came. Bastards broke up again.
Did you go to any of the reunion shows? And have you checked out Vileevils?
I like what I’ve heard of Grahams VileEvils, yea.
I couldn’t go to ANY of the reunion shows due to being ready to give birth at any time. Saying that maybe if I had have gone and pogo’d along to Karmadrone , my son may have been born a little lighter [:P]
I’ll always be a Grebo and proud.[cool]
Have been listening to the new Breeders album, ‘Mountain Battles’.
Totally missed that one … I’ve got to check it out ASAP.

It’s pretty darn great. Very lo fi. Less ‘skippable’ tracks than the last album. Definitely their best since ‘Pod’.
Funnily enough, I like The Breeders yet can’t stand The Pixies.
Figure that one out!
