I like Drip - good use of the interference noise in the beginning, it sorta sets the mood for the whole track. The pulsing bass and the sample around 1:25 is good. I don’t usually listen to music this noise-based and experimental, but I like it. Good job, Stasis.

Thanks for the kind words, the song I’m adding next is more dancy and a friend did a really good job putting some samples in it…will probably be a few weeks before its up though.

listening to deaf dreams just now. you’re definitely on to something, there’s something unplaceable there which is more than the sum of your influences, i like the mixture of clean sounds with the dirty distorted bass noises, like strange little electric beasties scuttling around a nuclear wasteground.

Glad you like it, I downloaded your songs “dawn of our blackest day” and “last flicker of light” and I liked them both. I was wondering if you used software (like me) or if you used actual equipment? Im thinking about expanding into the realm of live shows in a few months…
there’s a real guitar on dawn of our blackest day. my mate came round with his guitar and effects pedal and recorded a load of stuff onto my computer which i cut up and made a few tunes out of, though that one’s just made from a couple of notes he hit randomly while we were messing around trying to make it work. the other two are all made with the computer. i’m trying to work out how i could turn it into a live act myself, though i think i’ll have to come up with some completely new stuff to do it.

I’ve been talking to someone whos rather knowligable on live shows and I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to buy a 12 channel mixer, maybe another keyboard, get some effect generators…and I’m set for live shows (I’m building at least one gristleizer, depending on how hard it is I might build a few) I’m thinking of pulling a tg and playing my basic rhythms off a disc and then just improving over it.

yeah, that too. for the climax of the show, i was thinking about getting a set of bagpipes stuffed with offal. can you imagine how horrible the sound of offal being blasted out of some bagpipes could be? not to mention the mess
