I have been a fan of theirs for quite a while. Recently I got my hands on their latest release, “Tellurique” and I gotta say I think its quite stunning. I think it should appeal to all fans of Godflesh and the Swans, as well as of Isis, Neurosis, Cult Of Luna etc. As a matter of fact, KTT should really be getting at least as much recognition as those bands, which is sadly not the case.
Anyone else here a fan of theirs or willing to share their opinions about them?
I’ve never heard them/heard of them, but with you lumping them with bands like those I will definately give them a try. =)
Well, they are a French band with really pathetic distribution and promotion. I have never seen an album of theirs in a store and the only time I ever saw a videoclip of theirs was on some French channel very late at night. Actually, it was that videoclip that got me interested in them as it was extremely good. It was for the track “Crime” so if anyone by any chance has it and can share it, I’d really appreciate it…
KTT is actually quite an old band as they’ve been around since the late 80s, if I’m not mistaken and have already toured with Godflesh, Killing Joke and Neurosis… They really deserve the recognition.
Very good band, but their releases are very hard to find (with exception of the two last albums).
I saw them three times live (first time in 95) and it was always great.
