Bought the “City Baby Attacked By Rats” LP when I was younger. That album had a big impact on me.
Saw the band live in the mid-90s… I was disappointed since the singer was so drunk he could barely stand.
“Punk Junkies” is a some kind of good recent return to form from them.
cool. yea, i was in NYC last week (amazing city - you must go to experience it yourself) and i went to the virginSuperStore and they had some GBH re-releases. I snagged “City Baby’s Revenge” (a bit pricey at $19.99), and I was really eyeing the “City Baby attacked by Rats” but didn’t get it - i wish i had. Anyway they’ve re-released these CDs with the singles and b-sides that preceded each album. Cuty Baby’s revenge has about 6 extra tracks on it (I’m at work - CD at home). so did “City baby attacked…”.
Bernard, yea I bought them back in high school., too. Although, I never got to seem them. this CD still stands up as being a great album after all these years.
I’m gonna try to locate “City Baby Attacked By Rats”. I’ve been doing some searching, and they’re hard to find.
I have their 'The Clay Years - 1981 to 84" release.

They just cancelled their Chicago show here the other weekend. The official reason given was “family reasons”. Whatever that means, i saw them play here 10 years ago. On the third song, the guitarist threw his guitar at the lead singer and walked off stage. Show was over, no refunds. That sucked.
