Although the friend of mine who gave me the pass was pretty pissed when I didn’t use all 10 days; I wasted 4 days of premium WoW fun…I rung him one day on the aul’ phone; and he went absolutely fucking apeshit berzerk; apparently I had called him in the middle of some raid or something…I guess some people take games way too seriously.
i have been playing “teh WoWs” since it came out in november. and now my GF plays with me too, bought a second PC and game to do it.
i won’t start rambling about games, it’s my life’s most obsessive passion/hobby.
Wow. You actually have someone that would buy a PC and the game on top of that just to play with you? That’s dedication, right there. Maybe I should give this game a second thought…no, no, that would be bad.

Thinking of bying HL2 just to get the deathmatch… thingy.
HL2DM is great. although, the community is pissed becasue vALVE doesn’t support it all that much. Since its release vALVE has release 3-4 maps ( that’s a total of 7 of offical maps - hundreds of user maps though) and only one patch for gameplay bugs. I still think its great. Very intense. I tell you though… the HL2 single player is awesome. HL2DM is my base game.
I also just purchased Day of Defeat: Source last week (a pre-order) - it was only $17. P-non, if you have any questions before investing in the game hit me up.
Mmmm, is it true that the kind of wankery Valve expect from you to “authenticate” your copy of Half-Life 2 is almost as bad as Microsoft expects in Windoze XP?
