I just got back from seeing Anal Cunt, and it was pretty awesome. On top of being an intentional joke, they’re now also an unintentional joke because Seth Putnam is old, fat, can barely walk without a cane, and performs in jogging pants. Highlights were “You’re Gay,” “Stayin’ Alive” and “Waterfall Wishes” from the acoustic album.
Also, after watching the opening bands, I’m wondering if there are any non-ironic grindcore bands, or if there ever were (aside from Napalm Death).
Definitely a great night.

So lame. Seth really ought to get into rehab or something. Heroin has crippled him so badly, I have no idea why he continues to tour, supporting his wreckless lifestyle.

Extreme Noise Terror was a crappy band but they have probably the best name for a grindcore band possible 
Probably the funniest band name I’ve run across was a local band here in Atlanta that was around for years. Their name? Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles [:P] I never went to one of their shows so I cannot comment on the content although I can gather it was probably humorous.
One of my favorite band names: The first time I heard somebody mention Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, I really thought they had said Ben Affleck & the Fucktones. The name is still available!
