A friend of mine in college used to order dried opium pods in the mail. He said it was completely legal and had no problem receiving them at his home address. We would grind them up and make tea that totally fucked us up. I’m kind of kicking around the idea of ordering some more, but I’m curious if it REALLY is legal. Anybody know about this? I found a few websites and they say it is legal (of course) but I thought a few folks on this board might know a thing or two about it.
This is what I would tell you to keep in mind…
If you are in the United states, know that, our senate just screwed us and passed the FISA bill. Which means no punishment for the telecom companies that helped george bush spy on us, meaning they will do it again or keep doing it if they haven’t stopped. If you are ordering these buds from outside of the country (Probably the middle east since that’s their biggest Export) you can almost count on somebody reading your mail/email/listening to your phone order. because supposedly they only spied on communications that were leaving the country or coming into the country (no inner country spying supposedly) so rest assured your correspondence will be seen by 3rd party eyes. that’s info they can act on or tuck away for further use (read fahrenheit 451 to see what I mean about scapegoatism) I personally wouldn’t put myself in that situation but then again I don’t do drugs. Consider that opium buds, dried or not, are still opium and against the law… the headlines read "He goes by the name killface and he was sending money to opium dealers in the middle east! This terrorist traitor…"Just my conspiracy minded two cents.

I’m not really paranoid as much as lazy. Also, I’m not really a drug user, I just remember that we had a lot of fun back in the day and was curious about the legality of it. I like blowing on some trees now and then but that’s about it.

having to do 3 bags of heroin (depending on your location anywhere from 15-30 dollars) just so you can get out of bed to function like a normal human being… not even be high… just to not be in pain and avoid the hot and cold flashes… and this is only gonna last as long as the drugs do… once they wear off it’s back to the block for you. if that’s the road you want to go down be my guest… it’s a real good time especially when you for some reason can’t get your fix in time…
but this isn’t going to be the case from just smoking opium of whatever once or twice… although the high is “supposedly” so good that you don’t want to JUST do it once or twice.

Where I’m from you can buy a big canister of poppy seeds from an Indian supermarket type shop. put a heap of seeds in a bottle with water and shake that fucker around for about 20 minutes (Till the opium gunk has been washed off the seeds). Make tea from the water. I dunno if this kind of thing can be sold in the US (where i assume you’re from), but if so you can do it that way without going to overseas sources.
And taking opium once is not going to make you a junkie.
