I used to run Linux from 1998 until a couple of years ago exclusively. It’s a good OS for servers, however, for desktops, give me OS X. I switched from Linux to OS X a couple of years ago. It has the unix layer with a great GUI on top. It just works. No meddling with drivers, kernels, etc.
And no, I don’t use the one mouse button - that was amusing though.
