They are having a difficult time managing her pain. She said it feels much better after the pins went in to support it, but it is still not reduced to an acceptable level to release her from the hospital. She said that when it happened, she could not even cry it hurt so much and that the pain of child birth was nothing compared to this.
That’s sounds very rough, Mooney. Hope your sister’s pain eases off and she can get out of there soon.

The morphine drip each hour is not enough, and they have to give her something else in between. Due to having to switch meds, they are going to keep her at least until Monday. She’s in good spirits, despite being a bit sleep deprived. She begged them to let her take a shower yesterday, and they reluctantly let her. She said just taking a shower made her feel so much better. She started PT too.
