Old video arcade game time

I’m trying to find the name of this old video game. I remember playing it when I was really young. I don’t think i was in school yet, so, it coulda been 1979, 80 or 81 (that woulda made me 3, 4 or 5). It was kinda like Mad Dog Mcree in that it was a live action shooting game in the old west, but this was 10 years, at least, before “Mad Dog Mcree” came out.

What I remember was their eyes would flash white or silver and if you shot before the eyes would flash you would die or if you shot too late after their eyes flashed you’d die.

I think it may have been “Wild Gunman” (from 1974) because that game had all those elements I just described, but the main problem with it being “Wild Gunman” is that “Wild Gunman” used a pistol and I distinctly remember using a rifle to play because it looked like my mom’s .22 rifle, and I had trouble, as a little fella, aiming the gun cause it was so long and heavy.

Was there a sequel to “Wild Gunman?” Maybe? It took me an hour or so just to track down “Wild Gunman” because everything I search comes up with the laserdisc games from the 90s or animated/pixelated light gun games.

Was it Shoot Out (1976)?

1002

no, it was a live action game (kinda like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmdOHmnbYHw). It had a big screen TV connected to it. It wasn’t a cabinet type game. Like I posted in the first post, this link looks and awful lot like it, the game play looks right, but it was definitely a rifle and I don’t remember the quarter slot box being that big and rectangular… but I could be wrong about this detail.
