Ha, that’s pretty funny. Isn’t it weird how concert synchronicity works.
And that picture is Barker/Jourgensen/Rieflin/Daley. This is the lineup for the pre-LORAH tour in 1987, so you’re right Carmangary, that’s his look from the time you saw them. This was Marston Daley’s brief stint in the band on keyboards and one of the few appearances of the rare super-furry Rieflin.
That’s how he looked first time I saw. He had a beret that he wore but it came off his head while he was stage diving during a concert. He wanted it back, along with his microphone that was also lost, after the concert and the guy on the PA kept asking for whoever had them to return them. That went on for 1/2 hour at least. No one ever returned them. The funny thing is that over 10 yrs later I was wearing an old Cold Life T-Shirt and the bartender at a bar I used to go to said she used to have the same shirt. We got to talking and she was also at that same concert and knew the people who STILL had Al’s beret and microphone.
I have told that story once or twice on here before so I apologize to those who have heard it before.
haha fuck yeah! i wouldn’t give them back either

Yep. It’s the fur that does it. Other than his homeless beard phase, he’s looked pretty much the same for most of his career.
bill is the man!
it was surprising to see that it’s Bill who played main gultar riff on Stigmata on that video boot bisquit shared, while Al (and Ogre who seemed like just pretending to play guitar) just playing that harmonic noise on guitar the whole song
yes! allway’s do that grumpy every time i see a url that i’m supposed to copy und paste, like a bad informercial i think ‘theres gotta be a better way’ then you come thru!
It is interesting that you never find Captain URL and grmpy in the same room together hmmm…
In the Houston '87 video it took me awhile to figure out that was Marsten on keyboards behind the barbed wire. I remember him mentioning in an interview that he had gone on tour with Ministry once, but thought it was probably on the Twitch tour.
Fuzzy Rieflin is awesome.
carmangary, that’s easily one of the best Ministry stories right there. I envy you forever for catching that show.
There was a “guest” at the 87 show I went to but I don’t know who it was. Could have been Ogre, Luc Van Acker, or who knows who. I asked Special Ed about it and he said it was before his involvement. It’s been bugging me for a long time that I don’t know.
Surprised Bisquito doesn’t know, He’s certainly the resident historian on all things Ministry.
Hell, Prologue may have a boot of that show on Video or audio somewhere why don’t you try hitting him up.

As far as I know, the only recording from the mid-87 tour is that video of half a show. Luc Van Acker’s a guest at it, so that could be the case withthe one you saw. You remember which songs they were on?
