Today I was thinking that the way Martin whores himself with tour seminars, selling pieces of cages (?), and screwing over bands and friends and really it has made him tacky.
So why do I consider myself a fan? Simple. I really do enjoy the music and that Pigface aura of things. Pigface had a sens of humour and personality like no other.
Does it make me excuse the things Martin does? No.
Personality like no other? Really? Not to be a dick, but care to enlighten us? If new RevCo has taught anyone anything, it’s that dropping a few F-bombs and talking about weird shit like fucking a tractor trailer isn’t exactly a world of its own with lowbrow comedy…
At least Ween can still entertain…and the Dead Milkmen are touring again! Yay! But I will have to miss out, I got classes…
martin to pigface is not al to ministry. we joke around about al doing jack shit, but as far as pigface and martin goes, he’s nothing more then a ringleader drummer who may get a little bossy. the magic that was pigface and it’s humor or personality that you speak of, i think is more of a misunderstanding on your part of the crop of guests on any given album. That’s what really makes or breaks a pigface song. Be it meg chin, ohgr, that asshoole connelly (sorry chris but the other thread said we are too nice to you… oh but your irish boy looks and charm… I can’t even play beingf mean to you… sorry kisses) en, whomever…
