It’s funny if you look at the amazon link ,the book is called “If I Did It”…but the cover for the book just says in bold letters “I DID IT”…very telling…let’s cut through the bulllshit…
No, that’s what I was trying to explain earlier.
They hide/obscure the “If” but it’s there.
In one version the “If” is hidden inside the “I”.
In another the “IF” is the same font and size but white (as opposed to the standout black lettering) so it gets camouflaged/concealed.
The intent is obvious and gross, if not a bit morosely funny.
What happened with the If I Did It book was that the rights to it were awarded to the Goldman family as part of the civil judgment against O.J. That’s why the cover obscures the “if” as much as possible and adds the subtitle “Confessions of the Killer”.

Thanks. I hadn’t heard that take on it.
Interesting.
I feel like we could have at least another season’s worth
of the OJ drama show to follow all the post-verdict stuff after the criminal trial.
I had an OJ encounter down here in Miami(he lived in South Miami some years)…I had to do some business down south and stopped in at a Fuddruckers for lunch(hamburger joint, for those who don’t know)…as I sat in the back by myself,I noticed a bit of head-turning and minor commotion…there was OJ(with a blond white chick)and some other guy(kinda looked familiar-like some B movie actor or something)…everyone in the place was staring while trying to look like they weren’t staring…he looked over at me as they were leaving and said “Hey,guy”…I just nodded and dumped my food tray and left…
Not much of a story, but there it is…it definitely gave me a surreal feeling…severalpeople I know down here have had similiar encounters
