I think the tickets are separate. in other words you have to have the ticket THEN you pay for the VIP. i think.

Yes tickets are separate.

Missed every chance to see them live. Will be missing this too [mad]

Every other time I’ve seen Ogre in concert ('07, '08, '09), he’s met fans and signed stuff for free. Is he going to be more elusive now to protect the value of the VIP package?

Wow! A VIP package for less than $500 and you actually get to meet someone from the band? That’s insane!

West coast tour…no NYC [:(]

I’m pretty sure they will put something together for the East Coast crosses fingers … I still remember the first Ohgr tour with Cev on drums and the video screen matrix… insanely sick.

Also, tickets are separate from VIP, but I’m guessing Ohgr isn’t going to charge $75 per ticket.

Was that at the limelight? I was there if so.

yea this is the western leg. us eastern peeps will get some shows. we always do.

and for the record… ohgr is a class act. his shows are always incredible. he puts on these shows like there’s 10,000 people there, where actually its just a little club show. i got to meet him without paying for the VIP stuff. and ya know, i’m probably going to get the VIP because i think his work is worth the support. i just can’t say enough good stuff about ole’ nivek.

if your not sure if you should catch his shows check out my vids from his last tour through atlanta. it’s a lot of fun.

i’m still pissed my buddy blurred my pic with him. [:P]
weird fact: i remember when my pic was taken with him - he smelled like soap.

Haven’t really followed him much or been into his stuff for almost 20 years, but saw Skinny Puppy in '92 on the “Last Rights” tour and it was just mind-blowing. A complete experiencial show. Loved every bit of it, including all the mutant freaks that were there to see it.

I only saw them once on the ‘Devil In My Details’ tour in NYC and it was an alright show. Cool costume changes and some backing vids. Nothing mindblowing.

The two times I saw Skinny Puppy though were much stronger theatrically and crowd-wise, etc.

With the Skinny Puppy camp though, I feel they use too much backing track and their live show is too identical to the albums with basically every sound still there from the album.

Either way I’d see ohGr live again and will if they come to NYC.

Yup… It was at the limelight… one of the last great shows in that amazing venue. Do you remember Hate Dept opening for Ohgr? They basically screamed at everyone and talked shit about them, thus starting about a bazillion posts on litany.net

That tour was pretty awesome with Cev as dedicated drummer, Skold and Bill Morrison in the mix as well.

Yep…I like Hate Dept., so I was there for them. The singer was talking shit for sure.

Regarding Hate Dept yelling at the crowd, talking shit, etc.–that was just a gimmick of the band. They do that at every show. (Kinda appropriate considering the band’s name, right?) Steven Seibold’s actually a pretty nice guy.

Skinny Puppy fans are ENORMOUS pussies. I learned this from spending time at Litany where I was banned years ago…

^^^ um a) at least they have fans
b) you aren’t banned, you are still listed in the “members list” the 2 guys who were banned are not you pussy, stop crying that nobody enjoyed your spam. cuz that’s all you did there voidhead/blackbombs 10 posts 10 spams.
c) there feel better? [crazy]

“This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man.”

ok thank you for confirming my statement

no problem, I love acting. Don’t be sad at being called out on your pussyness though. Think of it as constructive…I’m only trying to help.
You aren’t banned so feel free to go over and make the world a happier place…

Ahhh ok. In any event, it didn’t really change my opinion of them one way or the other. I just remember the ensuing litany.net shitstorm!

“An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Banned: flame”

maybe then it’s because you have 3 names? I think you’re only allowed one? there is def a Voidhead and a Blackbombs one…hang on…
