I will definitely catch this at the Masquerade. Saw two shows back to back on the last Ohgr tour and enjoyed it even more than the 2004 Puppy tour.

Wow, um Station 4 is a place in St. Paul that is, um, not exactly an A-List location… Looks like Ohgr’s pull may be diminishing w/o the Puppies to back him up. I’d promised myself never to go there again (and I haven’t for years) but I might have to break that promise.

I’ll probably go to the Dec 4th show.

Tue-Dec-02 TBD This better be Detriot area. FUCK!

Bitter, I might have to miss NYC. But, when you’re an adult with obligations…so be it…

Feel my pain everyone, I found out ohGr played an hour from me eons ago. The date I found out? Day of my 18th birthday. Yeah. Wanted to hit someone.

Ah well.

yessss Dec 10th. I’m there. Thank you for the info.

keep dreaming, you know we never get shit for shows. i’ll guess that date will be toronto.

Oh, grrrr…

so what was the offense that made you never wanna go back?

No one offense. I’ve been there, seen too many shows there and played too many shows there. There was one night I was there and it dawned on me that I hated the place and hate no interest in going back, so I didn’t.

Honestly, the staff’s pretty great, but the clientele are shitty (I’ve seen the daughter try to tearfully get her drunk mom to come home), the environment is sterile, sounds usually poop unless it’s metal, the place is in St. Paul which just isn’t a rock club city like MPLS is, and a lot of the bands that play there are music school graduate-types (i.e. they’re technically proficient but have no juice). If you’re going to music school to play in a rock band you probably have too much money and you end up taking courses on “How to network”. Yech.

It’s a ramble of a response but hopefully that will give you an idea.

This will be cool. Definitely gonna be there. Can’t wait to hear the new album. I’ll have to check out some YouTube videos of them live to get a taste of what to expect.

I wonder if Ogre can pull off the singing live as well as he does in the studio…

Also I wonder who will be in the live band. Tim Skold probably wouldn’t go back…too “high profile” now from his time in Manson I’d imagine.

Though he hasn’t done anything since Manson gave him the boot…

Basically the band will probably be the same line up for the Greater Wrong of the Right Tour sans cEvin Key, and Loki in his place. Haven’t heard who will be playing bass yet. Guitarist William Morrison, and drummer Justin Bennett’s American Memory Project film will be one of the openers. Not sure how this will be presented, if they will be doing double duty and playing live music while this is shown or if its a prerecorded soundtrack.

November’s shaping up to be a good concert month for me. I’ve got the LPD show 5 days before OGHR plays Phoenix. Can I get a Chris Connelly date to complete the trifecta?
