Nice! I’ll check it out tonight.
You will not be disappointed.

I know you’re all old and boring but give this a shot you might be surprised bitches
I like the music, but I have to say the Manson influence in the vocals is WAY up front.
Also, did you base this on something you already had lying around or do you just work crazy fast?
impressed! i like it.
want to post up lyrics?

Thanks. Worked crazy fast. I started totally from scratch. And had my bassist and guitarist lay down some parts on top of my stuff.
Don’t see how anything aside from the “USA USA” bridge sounds like Manson vocals.
Thanks for the comments!

Thanks dude.
“Obama bin Laden” lyrics:
The boogieman died today
Strung up on the cross like a marionette
The sky was clear with a cloud in the distance
Like on the day when the planes hit
USA USA
The boogieman died today
Political piggy buried in the Dead Sea
The sky was clear with a cloud in the distance
Like on the day when the Son wept
Perhaps you’re too close to notice it, but to me, as a Manson fan, I hear a LOT of influence. It particularly sounds like Portrait/SLC era stuff.
Musically, it’s more interesting than anything he’s done in nearly 10 years.
Hey that was pretty damn good!
I like the beat mixed w/the middle eastern sounding loop. The vocals sound more to me like Ogre or early Groovy Mann than Manson.
Anyway, cool track… good you released it now so it’s current, I might tweak it a bit more later… what are you saying in the chant at the end there?
^
Yeah, I liked the funky Mid-Easterny part too. Hopefully we’ll get some new videos.

Yeah did not really get time to master it properly it’s a rough cut but fuck it’s raw.
After I found out Osama bin Laden was killed we went down to Ground Zero which is where I recorded the chanting crowd.
They were yelling “We love Obama! Fuck Osama!” in the sample.

he he he …
Great track Void, probably my favorite yet from Nursing Home. I love that the chant is genuine, I figured it was you and friends!

WHy do you always write shit like this about your music?
It’s not like you are under contract from a label that is making you put this out there on a designated date? WHy not wait 'til you get it mixed how you want before putting it out there? that way you don’t have to make excuses for it. Not that this song needs all that many excues…
I agree with most of the people that have posted. I like the middle eastern sounding loop you got. I certainly dig the chanting, the song itself it has a groovy beat and I can bug out to it.
For my money, you have better songs that you have released (not by much though and in all fairness some were ideas that you hadn’t developed into full songs (your words not mine)). Not to say this is bad.
Certainly better than when you first started hawking your warez around here. I don’t know if you sold your soul to the devil or what but it seems like you’ve missed the some steps on the evolutionary musician scale. Because you started out as a single cell and now you’re carrrying around a wooden club… what happened to all of the stages between those two stages?
you’re lyrics certainly still need help and you definitly need to find your voice and stop emulating manson. Manson voice doesn’t work for you.
as far as your music goes your certainly catching a knack for composition/arrangement.
good job!..seriously
the negative version of my post summarized… you’re on your way but do it better!

Thanks.
I released it when I did to capitalize on the hype surrounding bin Laden’s death.
I am not apologizing for anything. I think for 2 days it is a good mix.
I will post a mastered version of this song to clean it up a tad at some point soon.
Last night I sent an alternate version with clean vox and less sfx/samples for a dubstep remix to be made so expect that soon.
I released it when I did to capitalize on the hype surrounding bin Laden’s death.
Yeah, that seemed pretty obvious to me. And it’s funny how quickly things go from being big news to being played out and forgotten.
It’s been one week, but seriously, it seems already as if the Bin Laden killing happened years ago.
Am I the only one that feels like this . . . ?
Bin Laden is dead and nothing has changed. Obama isn’t wearing Ruby Slippers and there aren’t a bunch of midgets doing funny dances. We’re still in Kansas.
Not completely true… the residents of the U.S. are slightly jovial. Damn shame it takes death to make us “happy.”
Wonder how come troops aren’t being pulled from afghanistan and put in libya for the effort there. What use is there for troops in afghanistan anymore?
