Nursing Home is back with 5 new Halloween songs. They were recorded in an intense 2 week incantation in Brooklyn by founding core members Baba Yaga and Justin Symbol.
I like the instrumental orientation. I can hear Pink Anvil in some of the songs particularly the first one. The guitar sounds are good as well esp. on the first one, sounds like an electrified howl of a giant beast or something.

Thank you. Yes Pink Anvil was a big influence on the sound we went for here, on the more serious instrumental tracks.
Honestly (and I probably shouldn’t admit this) no real guitars were used in these recordings, simply because we didn’t have one at our disposal and were working with a very limited time frame.
Instead we substituted programming, bass or keyboard depending on the song and used effects to get the “guitar” tone we would have wanted.
