The 1200 dollars is interesting. Cause it’s basically a little higher than minimum wage and everybody’s complaining that it’s not enough but alot of the voices complaining (not yours I’d assume) have championed in the past that minimum wage is just fine to live off of and now when it’s them it’s a problem… Maybe this will pave the way for a livable wage and universal health care. Doesn’t matter if I have health care if everyone around me is sick. Something those don’t understand but now that theyre living with both low wages and a sick society… Who knows? Some people never learn. Maybe I’m too hopeful. 
Blood type may have something to do with younger people getting sick and dying.

I’m barely keeping up with it. I know there are more than 1 million cases now, world wide. But on a positive note the US finally has more people surviving than dying from it. Although your odds are still 2:1 which are not very friendly but at least it’s more living than dying.
I know my county is now requiring anybody going out in public keep doing the social distancing but also face masks are mandatory. We didn’t have any so i was in Lowes the other day decked out bank robber style. I felt silly, but whatever. My wife’s friend sews so she’s making us some actual surgeon type masks we’ll probably get on Friday.

This one had me kinda fucked up last year.
I was (and still very much am) pretty obsessed with how the powers-that-be (all of them) were using this whole pandemic situation to prey on our fears to the fullest and establish the highest degree of control over our citizens.
It might be a bit of a stretch, but still reasonable in my mind, that I saw this as a deliberate ploy to rattle people harder and get full attention. At the time, there were two things being discussed . . . . the pandemic, and TIGER KING. A lot of people were still blowing off the pandemic or not bending over the way our so-called leaders wanted them to. So, I thought it was pretty brilliant to ensure talking points and search hits as well as a great hysteria to just insert the idea that this disease was jumping across other species and putting our entire planet at risk. And that they used the tiger for this just seemed deliberate to me.
No, I’ve not put any “evidence” together for this theory, and it could be complete bullshit, but even a year later it still seems plausible to me, especially since this particular story arc died just as fast as it was pushed. I think it failed to give the desired outcome/ results so they just went on to the next episode.
That’s actually not too bad of an idea.
BUT more importantly, BEWARE, because you had an idea and decided to share it and put forth some reasons of why that idea may true you are now chained to that idea forever and you may never take it back even if it turns out that you’re wrong.
So, let this be a lesson to you for sharing some musings with the board /snark

I posted in late January of last year that the Coronavirus was likely going to be another inflated scare that turns out to be nothing . . . . like SARS, Bird Flu, etc.
I was wrong on that one and two months later went back to admit it and correct myself.
