I don’t know how many of you did the presale stuff but I got a mail in the other day with a link to an “exclusive” No Glory Remix because I pre-ordered. Just wondering if anyone else got this mail and checked it out as I’m yet to download the song.
Apparently it’s in the works.
I didn’t like the last remix album - all the tracks sounded the same. Hopefully there’ll be a more varied lineup of mixers this time around.

i liked it. the only track i wasnt happy with was Senor Peligro. i wanted it to be heavier…
the album is GREAT party music. you just put it on from start to finish as background music and it really fills the room. it’s also good for working out…
I think a lot of it was pretty boring, and needless to say, i’d prefer the original album over that any day. But while I consider most boring, the “good” ones I consider pretty good and far from mediocre. RGB just doesn’t seem like one of those albums to that you can just go and remix any day of the week: it’s a metal album! What’s there to really do with it other than adding a few generic beats here and there? I don’t expect much for the sucker remix album either, but it could be a little better than RGD at least.
Yeah, I gave the “Dub” album a listen… and it kinda saddened me a little.
No the music, per se (Five minute “Palestina”? Fuck yes.), but rather the fact that is was remixed by a single, totally obscure individual. Nothing like Leaether Strip’s “Yes, I’m Limited” series or Pigface’s epic “Below the Belt.” Just some random Clayton Whatshisfuck.
Sad.
Just another reminder of those many, many burnt bridges in Al’s career.
Gangreen on the DUBya record was 100% maybe 110% better than the original.
from shite to shine.
That one’s not bad, but what about Great Satan and Rio Grande Blood? I can likely point out the terrible ones and maybe the three good ones. Gangreen are definately Fear (is Big Business) good. Maybe i’ll give it another go.
Well, I don’t know how new it is or not. I am yet to grab it. My download link got fuxxered. I know that there is a No Glory mix already about but the email says it is an “exclusive to those who pre-ordered tickets” so it may be something completely different. As soon as I can get a copy then I will let you all know if it’s the same. Would like it if someone else could help also. But since I don’t know if anyone actually pre-ordered and got the same link…

Nah…
I’m quite a big fan of Worbeck’s work, looking foward to hearing more and almost sexually excited about the prospect that he’ll probably be involved with near enough all the tracks on the Last Sucker remix album.
Warbeck’s also a full-on Revolting Cock. So I’m definitely looking forward to that album later in the year.
Remember, 90% of Al’s collaborators over the years were nobodies at some point. Who’d heard of Barker and Rieflin outside the Seattle scene until they hooked up with the Ministry/RevCo crew? I say you should always give Al’s newer partners a chance. Sometimes it works out (Chris Connelly, Josh Bradford), sometimes it doesn’t (Stevie Banch, The Grand Wizard), but it’s always worth a listen.
