Nine Inch Nails producer Bill Kennedy dies at age 49

bummer:

Bill Kennedy, the Canadian producer and sound engineer of such bands as Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, U2, 16volt, The Genitorturers and SKOLD has died. He passed away in Edmonton at the age of only 49.

As a sound engineer and mixer, the Edmonton, Canada native worked on Nine Inch Nails’ 1992 industrial-rock EP, “Broken” and jokingly was credited as ‘The Kill Bennedy’ by Trent Reznor. Originating from Edmonton, he moved back from Los Angeles to Edmonton in 2005 to join the Powersound Studios’ roster of producers.

It’s unknown yet what he died of.

I saw this too. Sad, very sad. First Critter Newell, then Jamie Duffy and now Bill Kennedy.
Who’s next? John Fryer,…

Man, tough year.

Death no matter the age sucks, but 49? Jesus.
