Nin, ministry,. and nitzer ebb

Yeah I would absolutely appreciate any info about the area…I read that it’s like 40 min from the airport but that’s about as far as I’ve gotten…

Heading to Cleveland for this show tonight…looks like I’ll becoming back to a hurricane… hopefully I don’t get stranded in Cleveland…of all the places to be stuck haha…oh well, later dudes…

Cleveland could be a cool town to get stranded in. They have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a brisk heroin trade, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Totally forgot to share (or maybe I did, can’t remember). But that date opening for Depeche Mode was 5/10/1982 at Stage in Chicago. I know there was a lot of confusion over the years on what the actual date was. Ministry’s facebook shared this flyer a while back.

Did anyone catch the NIN/Ministry/Nitzer Ebb show? I really wanted to make it, but couldn’t make it out. I heard Ministry did play Supernaut, but Trent didn’t join in on vocals.

Here’s Ministry’s full performance

European tour cancelled, will Ministry do any more shows the rest of the year?

Stages was the name of Metro when Joe Shanahan started promoting shows there.

There’s a short clip on Instagram of Trent saying “if it wasn’t for Ministry, we wouldn’t be here…” during the recent Cleveland show.

No mention of Richard Patrick coming up and doing “Hey Man Nice Shot” with NIN?

Just got back from Cleveland…man, acid cripple wasn’t bullshitting…this concert venue was out in the god damn boondocks…and getting out of there was a nightmare but totally fucking worth it…

Nitzer Ebb only played 30min but it was a really fun set of electronic dance music…

Ministry only played 45 min but they sounded really good…I didn’t care that it was the same old set…the energy was great and the sound was great and the crowd was great…

NiN were so good I’ll have to make a second post when I have more energy…

Yep Trent absolutely did say that …my gf and I just looked at each other and nodded our heads after he did…

I’ve seen NiN plenty of times over the years since the early 90s and this was certainly up there with the best…so cool with all the ex members there…the sound and visuals in that place were astounding…the set list was incredible and was just great all around…that being said, it was an absolute horror show trying to get out of that place…

Made it to the R&R Hall of Fame the next day and really enjoyed the hell out of that…I could have stayed there all day…can cross that one off the bucket list

Man I would have loved to see that show. So cool that it happened and amazing Trent was able to mend bridges with the earlier members. Gotta say Trent seems like a really stand up guy.

He’s gotten a lot better over the years. He used to be kind of a douchebag. I think almost dying of a drug overdose, his relationship with Bowie, and his development of a family with whatshername helped mold him into a much more tolerable individual.

I met Trent back in 2009, a genuinely sweet guy. We talked about Star Wars for a couple minutes and he gave me a hug before I left.

lol. i remember him tweeting about being ramped up to see the Star Trek reboot, wore his Spock ears to the movie theater and everything. “is that trent reznor in the Spock ears and Federation shirt? naaaaah… couldn’t be.”
