you could call it an industrial zombo, but i think its just ohgr being weird. if that page is not loading the thumbnails its done in quicktime - a lot of that site is in QT. make sure you have it installed. even tho, yes the images are just there for no other reason than to be there. has nothing to do with the album - as i can see.

on the the image page I only looked at a few pics… and the ones i did (like the manson) had that weird mask on the front page kinda stenciled over his face… i’ll have to go look at the others

So is “Timebomb” a cover of the recent Beck hit?
Well, on first listen it’s a LOT different from what I’ve been hearing from OhGr OR SP in the last few releases. More guitars and live drums, which is always good in my opinion… There’s still a lot of throwbacks to older SP than anything else I hear though. Very much reminds me of Last Rites coupled with the techniques of GWoTR. So far I like it… Anyone else had a chance to really listen to this yet?
Got around to hearing it this morning. Haven’t heard enough for it to really sink in yet, but from what I heard I enjoyed. It’s very different from the other two albums, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Feelin’ Chicken seems to have a nice ring to it though.

That’s true but it’s good enough to listen to and get a good feel for the album. In a way I actually kind of like the low quality. Kind of adds to it in a way. It’s almost like a twisted lullaby album to me. Like nursury rhymes as done by OhGr or something. So far my favorite tracks seem to be :

So basically the last half of the album is awesome to me. The first half is touch and go but not at all unenjoyable. Quite the opposite.

I talked to Ogre and Mark Walk after the online jam session they had wednesday night (someone taped it links are over in the litany forum), and asked about the Petty Tyrants. Ogre said he loved doing that project, and they both talked about how great it was to work with Bill Reiflin. Ogre does a pretty spot on Martin imitation [:)]
