New Remix

So I guess the Japanese version of RGB has a remix of Lieslieslies:

Has anyone heard it?

Dammit.
Does Mrs. Jay lurk here anymore? If so, let’s have that mix on emusic or something. US fans want to hear it too!

I heard a few minutes of it in Vegas a couple of months ago, but I can’t remember exactly what it sounded like.

If it were reasonable I’d buy it, but I can’t do $35.49 for one freaking song! Already bought the damn thing on Vinyl and CD…you should get a free link to d/l with proof of purchase, or something.
It’s too bad that singles seem to be a thing of the past, now. I miss going to the shop and leafing through 12"s, wondering what odd mixes and b-sides I might find. [:(]

That reminds me, wasn’t Luc Van Acker supposed to remix some of the new stuff and then it’d be sold as a 12" on the current tour? I’m guessing that didn’t happen since I didn’t notice it at the merch booth when I saw them in Woosta. Maybe the track is Luc’s handiwork.

yeah there were plans for releasing some revco remixes of his. it’s ministry, what do you expect - they tend to promise alot.

That’s interesting, Gila. I had forgotten about the talk about RevCo remixes. I bet they would’ve been pretty cool.
Did somebody else post after you? I couldn’t tell. My computer has this feature that filters out off-topic, redundant, whiny posts.

The remix was by some outside drum n bass artist, not affiliated with the ministry camp. he did try to make it sound very close to ministry’s standards, what with similar beats and all.

he’s posting on piss army as far as i know.

Oh, yeah, I’ve got a great shop here called Ear X-Tacy (the one that used Deity in the commercial) with all kinds of vinyl. I just meant the days when it was common for bands to release singles, rather than the way it is now.
It does appear that the E.P. is making a comeback, though.
Amoeba sounds neat, I remember you talking about it before - it sounded massive.

That drum and bass artist would be Soulslinger, one of the pinoeers of drum and bass (and a really nice cat as well). I haven’t heard his remix, but I trust it would be good. Oddly though, Soulslinger tends to have a really “musical” (for lack of a better word) and often ethinic (traditional South American) feel to it, so I’m really interested to hear what he did on a Ministry take. Really seems like something totally out of the norm for him.
