i don’t mean to take away from the topic. But I had no idea how GUENTER SCHULZ is so versatile. I just googled him and while i’m very familiar with his KMFDM stuff, he plays in cover bands, his own website is about acoustic jazz shit. its wild man.
I thought Slick Idiot was pretty poor, but I really dig the acoustic material on the site you linked, it’s way better than I’d expected and honestly more close to what I’m into these days than electro industrial. Who knew he had it in him?

I bought tickets to the KC show which were only $15 each. I am very curious to see the set list on this tour. It will be good to see a lot of the KMFDM classics that have been omitted on recent tours.
Most of all, I can’t wait to see Gunter perform. I consider him to be one of the most underrated guitar players in all of Rock.
Has anyone else heard the album Schulz did without En Esch, What Apology? I owned it about 10 years ago, and I remember it as being a surprisingly uninteresting release for someone of his greatness.

Yeah, it wasn’t very good. Slick Idiot’s got some good stuff though. Not 100% great, but neither were any of KMFDM’s albums. En Esch’s newest album is actually great and one of my favorites from the old KMFDM crew.
