Didn’t mind those two albums at all. Not nearly as good as the previous albums, but comparing to other bands like KMFDM, i’d say Raymond was still a bit ahead.

I’ve been on a major PIG kick lately. I think Pigmata is becoming one of my favorite albums ever. It’s just so damned… good.
This year might not be a complete waste of time, after all.
Listened to Wrecked a good bit today actually. And i’ve been near-obsessed with the song Prime Evil. Just insane.
Wrecked is Ray’s career highlight, IMO. The first four songs are damn near flawless. Take the title track with its skittery jackhammer beat and how his voice slithers in and out of the manic guitars and orchestral stabs. How the guitars all out thrash and provide flourish all at once. I think Ray at his best had a great ear for his genre and I’m holding out hope he’s still got it in him for some great new tracks in the future.
