I’ve got a new music project called Ka-ba Yoga. It’s 90s style IDM and hippy tinged ambient techno, the first EP is out for free on Bandcamp. Let me know what you think:
It’s the yin to the Eddie Entropy yang.

Here’s the cover, a nice shot my gf took of the pool around which I lay while programming the EP. I’m happy with how the layout turned out!
Downloaded. Will post my thoughts after I wake up.
Sweet pool!
And the last song on the EP is cool.

And the last song on the EP is cool. I’m saying that sober but I’ve a feeling it might be even more fun after a few.
Ditto.
I’m really digging this. Much as I love the evolution of Eddie, it’d be nuts to hear something like Worship the Warship or Cocaine Asshole incorporated with the dronal Thirsty for Blood stuff. This fills that void pretty well.
Cool, thanks for the kind words! It’s definitely a different sort of beast than Eddie (it’s also solo whereas Eddie is a collab with Revok), but it’s fun to have more than one outlet. Especially since Im really happy these days and it’s a little harder to tap into “Ed space” all the time.
Realized yesterday that I’ve been doing music for over 20 years. To celebrate this I’ve put a track from the upcoming Ka-Ba Yoga album on Soundcloud for a day or two. Enjoy!

in that far off Pic you look a little like dexter in a tuke!
your track is fun! this isn’t meant as criticism but the first 30 seconds and what turns out to be your driving sound sounds like old school video game music. very cool I dig it. it’s very light and just fun.

Thanks Grmps! It’s totally meant to be fun music and I grew up on Nintendo, so I’ll totally take that as a compliement!
Afraid I haven’t seen Dexter though, so that reference is over my head.
Good man, GD. I like this lots. It sets off lightly but there’s menace that comes into the background - a tsunami on the horizon. Any chance of a mp3?
Thanks Zick. I wanted the track to start rather like the first EP and then veer into colder territory. I still need to do mastering and stuff to the track, but if you won’t share I can send you a copy. If you’re on Dropbox I can send it that way, if you’re not, I’ll happily email it. pM me your info.
