Ministry song titled "Dancing Alone’ just released through 2026 Cleopatra Records . for anyone interested. will this possibly be from a forthcoming rare tracks release? https://youtu.be/jaYbozDnCY0?si=ikQlKoKvA0xiW_MP
Thanks but it doesn’t seem available…
It’s been released already on the Chicago/Detroit release, but I’m curious if this is a teaser for another archival set.
Very cool. Amazing the way these forgotten Ministry tracks continue to show up decades later. Thank you to whoever is responsible.
Very cool! The audio at the end of the clip sounds like it could be the same as the live show, but with the crowd noise mixed out and a new EQ boost. We’ll see what tomorrow brings, but it would be really rad if it it is indeed a studio cut!
Premieres in less than a n 4 hours, fam.
Oof. Song is horrible.
The track is indeed the live cut with cleaned up audio. I’m quite impressed that they were able to mix out the crowd noise and make it sound like a soundboard recording. A job well done. The video is pretty cheesy though…
Noise reduction technology has been getting better and better, and some of this newer AI reduction technology is wild.
Came here to talk about this. I love the song, it’s cheesy and perfect. And like dicecrusher, I continue to be amazed by how much material there really was from that lost period. Surely at least 2-3 albums worth if you count up all the unreleased demos, lost tracks, and live songs.

Yeah it’s crazy. Pink Floyd is getting ready to release a '75 show that I’m pretty sure had a similar clean up process.
This Ministry show was already a nice recording to begin with. I think Wemp mentioned that they had two stereo mics front of house. It’s crazy how it now sounds like a soundboard feed with the crowd noise reduced.
Pink Floyd will likely release a number of the 1975 shows as the copyright expires if they haven’t done anything with it. Similar to what they have done for some previous tours. I think copyright gets reset once published for 70 or 95 years. I don’t recall the time period.
They usually release them in November/December. It’s 50 years for copyright expiration. For 1975, I don’t think they released anything yet…which is strange. 13 were released for 1974.
Never fully developed into a song and was consequentially only played live a few times. It’s really more of a ‘Here’s a cool patch I found on this synth so let’s see if we can make it work’ kinda exercise.
It looks like Cleopatra has a link to the single release that’s now live:
I seen a track from van halen us festival and it looked very blu ray, i was wandering how they pulled that off.
If it was shot on film, it could very easily be scanned in 1080p or higher for Blu-ray quality.
