New Ministry Sept...if we are lucky

From SIN:

1 Hey everyone, yes, you read correctly. Im sitting here with Al working on the new and final Ministry album “The Last Sucker”. It should be done by May 1st and released by mid September 2007.
So far its BLAZING!
For the rest of the record while Im here I’ll be your eyes and ears so stay tuned!

2 Hey guys. Its not gonna be a 2 CD set but there are 2 CD’s coming out in the next year and a half.

So if “TLS” is the final Ministry album your #2 comment seems to hint at good news for Revco or Buck Satan fans. Any further hints?

I was kinda looking forward to a 2xcd Ministry album. Would’ve been nice to go out with something big. Still, I’m excited for this.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty much a given that Al is gonna pull a Jay-Z on us. As for #2, I hope it’s the new lard record we’ve been promised.

#2’s gotta be buck satan, after that 666 bulletin on myspace, no?

they planned 2nd cd to be just the covers collection but now it seems that they abandoned that idea and will settle for 1cd (thank god)

That’s it exactly. And thank God, indeed - we already had eMOTIVe, ya know.

This is the first I’ve heard about the covers disc idea. I thought TLS was set to just be a double in the mole/blood style.

Maxmal posted this over at the PA some time ago:

"Taken from an interview done before the Paris concert in July. (Sorry it’s translated from French which was already translated from English.)

So you’re talking about the next album. Al said it would be the last one.

Raven : Yes it could be. It will be called the last sucker and it will be a double album. The cover will be inspired by the last supper with of course all these fuckers instead of Jesus and the apostles : Donald Trump, all the Bush administration…
The second CD will only be covers of songs we love and that have interesting political content."

Hence my comparison to eMOTIVe. [;)]

Oh dear!

Now they’ve gone and done it. I hope that no one is hurt during the making of this album - maybe we should ask them if everyone over at the Piss Army can contribute backing vocals - like a chant or mantra.

I’m sure that this would fit quite safely.
