Nice drums!
Nice drums!
Yeah, those are nice.
And since, presumably, the song isn’t about himself it’s not half bad.
Nice!
Now THAT’S the kind of thing I want to hear from someone like Manson.
Being less than one minute long, by default, makes it my favorite Manson song to date.
. . . . that being said, it’s actually a pretty cool sounding track.
Not bad. Seems solid. Sounds kind of like his more spooky low key stuff like the “Suicide is Painless” cover or the more goth rock stuff done in the ‘Holy Wood’ period, but with more drive.
The drums are exactly the same as in his “Personal Jesus” to the point where I’m wondering if they literally recycled those. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl6fyhZ0G5E
I think this is the right direction for him as well, at this point. It’s something he does very well and it’s not as straining as the really heavy stuff. It feels less forced at this point.
Curious if his new album will be in this vein. I know they’ve been recording stuff…
It’s weird, i used to love Manson, but for the last few albums he’s been treading water. Anyway, Danzig’s the man for this era of brooding groovy rock.
Definitely feels like a throwback to his early-mid 90’s stuff. I wonder if it’s left over from acss
This sounds like something recycled from The High End of Low. Regardless the vocals once again ruin what could be a decent song. I used to really like his voice - especially during the Mechanical Animals era but now he always sounds like he’s trying to pass a monstrous shit.
Twiggy’s Goon Moon album sounded more like vintage Manson than anything Manson has done in the past 15 years - and sadly twiggy’s reunion albums with MM sound nothing like Goon Moon…
But yep that song sounded pretty cool
