Pass based on the sample track provided.
No progression in style. sounds like out takes from all the other lead releases.
I’ve never heard two people who are so musically crippled without one another.

“A Savage Gift” was a very nice release, very much in vein of the original LIG in my ears. I fell off the wagon a bit with the EP and album that followed; got the EP, but I forgot to buy/check out said album… “Low & Slow” was my favourite release from LIG post the “classic” era, but no wonder since it’s all old stuff.

This new song doesn’t exactly scream “buy me”, but we’ll see. What I’d be happy to hear more of would be stuff in the vein of the better tracks from Flowering Blight and his Fix THIS!!! release - If he’d gotten togehter with “low-rent Rick Astley” (as Gunnar so beautifully put it) to make more tracks such as “Evangelical Sound Barrier” from the latter album, and “The Perfect Pair” from the former…

I’ve only got Chicks & Speed. But I’m led to believe, that’s all one needs (?)

Don’t really know much about any of the other releases but the ep I have is a good one. Probably deserves more attention than I have given it.

Not as good as Revco, but not too far behind.

I tend to agree.
I’m not hating the above sample track, but “Chicks and Speed” was really fresh and grabbed me right away. It was one of my favorite Ministry offshoot projects of the day.

The subsequent stuff, though, always feels like, yeah it’s sort of okay, but we all seem to be collectively trying to convince ourselves that there’s more there because we get street points for claiming Team Barker. It’s just not very good, though.

Everyone should have Age of Reason in addition to Chicks/Speed.
Giant On The Earth is a proto-Scarecrow, and it slams.
