Well…I’m off to ebay now to see if I can snag me a vinyl copy of ‘Pure Chewing…’. I really love the artwork on that album. A vinyl copy would look good on my shelf.

Eh, people just didn’t like him because they don’t like Slipknot. Never mind his drumming ability. I remember people bitching about Danny Carey being on Skinny Puppy. Apparently putting a Tool member on the album meant you were selling out.
Whatever. People are dumb.
I think joey sounded awesome. Carey is just godlike. Both are really good, if you ask me.
as a drummer i really have to say that danny carey and joey are both VERY talented drummers…
if people didn’t like joey it’s the whole slipknot mask gimmick that tends to brings them down in some peoples eyes. hell he even writes on guitar and bass too from what I understand (in the murderdolls… some tounge in cheek band)
and as far as danny w/skinny puppy, people probably just want to nitpick reasons why they shouldn’t have reformed and him being on a track and not being part of the “old team” probably gave them an excuse
a few years ago Al was saying that Charlie Benante from Anthrax would be drumming for Lard. Dont think this will happen any more but it would be great in my book.
