Am getting pretty excited about all this, as the new one is meant to sound a lot like Pandemonium (one of my all time favourite albums).

I had mistakenly mentioned on the other KJ thread that “The Gems Of Power” was the title, but that’s actually the title of a spoken word album that Jaz and Geordie are shopping around.

Well, what do you expect? Sounding like Ministry’s “Thieves” over and over again, with added Slayer riffs and repetitive palm mute guitar riffs, tends to get boring after an album or two.

Sorry for keeping on posting about FF in a KJ thread but I also have to say that their cover of Millenium SUCKS. Its really pathetic. I never liked the original much but it takes a crappy band like FF to show that it could be even worse…
Pandemonium is also one of my all time favourite albums, and the one they released in 2003 is getting up there rapidly.
As far as the upcoming album, when is it set for release? Do they plan to tour the US afterwards? How about them re-mastered releases?
Why do people say Jaz is a bit out there? Great lyrics and great voice…

But to get back to the topic at hand, I really dig on Pandemonium. It’s a great album, and I really like a few of the other albums I’ve heard (Democracy, new self titled, and a few others)… Any word on when the new one is due out? I’d love to hear if they are still putting out great jams. =)

But we’re talking about Killing Joke here…so anything could happen.
Apparently the new album is very ‘tribal’ sounding. Which isn’t surprising.
