A couple of days ago I got the Alternative Tentacles newsletter and it said that Jello and the melvins will release their 2nd album in September and it will also have remixes by Jourgenson, Darlek and a whole lot more. Back in June Jello hosted on a radio station in Ohio and he played Jello/Melvins songs on the air. One of the songs was called “Voted off the Island” and I always wondered why it was never released. So i guess its going to be released on the 2nd album.
So this is a whole new album and not just the “Enchanted Thought Fist” remix disc?

In the early versions of the track lists for “Never Breathe…” that floated around the internet, there were two more tracks on there including “Voted Off The Island” and “Wholly Buy Bull.” I’m betting they decided to save these two songs and throw in some remixes so they could get a second release out of this project. Which is okay with me, because I like the first one. Maybe some of those unknown live songs from the 2002 show will be included?
