Beavis sounds a little rusty in the beginning, but, I think it sounds like he’s still doing the voices.
I’m stoked for this. I think they stayed true to form and kept the winning formula. Goofing on Jersey Shore was pretty funny.

mike judge came to my house a couple of times for birthdays. his girls are in the same grades as my two kids. he is divorced from their mom now. i wonder if the new beavis took so long because of the domestic relations.

I kinda think it is dude… I mean it’s like 90% dead on. It’s been at least 15 yrs since he last did the voice and people’s voice’s change over time (case in point, Al Jourgensen on that Alex Jones show). Think of how much the voices change in a cartoon series when you watch the early episodes and the voice sounds “off” when compared to the later episodes.
Besides, why would they fork out money for someone else to do Beavis’s voice when Mike Judge did it for years, it just doesn’t make sense.
I could be wrong though, hope I’m not… no reason to mess with a classic if you don’t have to!

Though at the same time I’m really sad that MUSIC VIDEOS are kind of a dead art… so it seems… unless you’re Lady Gaga, who I think is actually pushing the most boundaries on that art form, more than anyone else at this point in time.
Did anybody watch this? I sure as hell did, and it was the best thing in a long time. Every minute of this was fucking ace. The good thing about pop culture being so, so shitty nowadays is that Beavis & Butthead will never stop being funny.
