I haven’t heard it yet but seeing as there’s a few AC fans here thought I’d give you the heads up.
Below is the press on it…
“Animal Collective release a new five track studio mini-album, less than one year after the band’s critically acclaimed album ‘Merriweather Post Pavillion’ wowed fans and critics across the globe.
Recorded by Ben Allen at Sweet Tea in Oxford, and at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, “Fall Be Kind” includes recent live favourites “Graze” and “What Would I Want? Sky” (featuring the first ever licensed Grateful Dead sample).”

You know it was funny with all the hype surrouding ‘Merriweather Post Pavilian’, I really think their earlier albums are stronger. It just took awhile for press and media to catch on.
Peligro, what do you think of these guys? I’m rather curious.
Personally I think they are great and have a really unique sound. Saw them live and they were excelleent.
Only downside is they are always so goddamn fucking happy/hippy!

I used to think their earlier ‘artsier’ albums were superior - but lately they’ve begun to bore me. Alot of meandering without ever really getting anywhere is the impression I get now. A lot of noise for noise sake and rather amateurish.
Still, in all fairness they have yet to make a bad album.
Merriweather is my favourite I think, followed closely by Feels, which doesn’t get the respect it deserves.
