Yeah I second the NIN mention. I think this time we really can expect them to release a CD on the heels of With_Teeth and not wait 4 fucking years.Seems like Trent’s got his shit together finally.

Yes…but it’s actually a solo Siouxsie album (no Banshees, my error). Here is an older news report from the official site:

Siouxsie has signed a new deal with Universal and will release a new album on the brand new imprint, W14, next year. Siouxsie is now busy writing new material for the new record and will go into the studio later this year to begin recording. ‘I am really excited about making new music. I have various collaborators in mind and am itching to get back in the studio’. Referring to an infamous spray-painting campaign to get the Banshees signed to a major label, Siouxsie added ‘At least I didn’t have to get someone spray-painting my name on the front of the Universal building !’
The new venture sees her reunited with John Williams, who was the Polydor A & R man who worked with her on Siouxsie and the Banshee’s 1988 ‘Peepshow’ album and on The Creatures 1989 album ‘Boomerang’.

There will (apparently) be a dvd/cd release in the latter half of '07. The dvd will be clips for the singles off 10000 Days plus some live footage. No one knows what will be on the cd.
Keep in mind though, this is TOOL so none of this may happen.

listening to the new live festival dvd that just came out. good mixture of tracks. 30 all together so that can hold you over till the new album.
