I think Chris mentioned he never liked that song much, but I also think it rules. Ambiguous lyrics are the way to go. I think this could be the most demonic of all Ministry songs.

Really? Odd, it’s one of my favorites on the album. The riff is so repetitive, it’s hypnotizing. Like after a while you only hear the bell doing it, then you don’t notice the bell anymore.
I should have worked harder on the lyrics, focussed more

Cannibal Song was another damn good one…
really damn good.
Never Believe darker than Cannibal Song???
yeah, don’t think I can say I believe that.

I don’t even pay attention to lyrics most of the time. The music and your singing on it rules.

It’s Al’s fault for pumping you full of various pharmaceuticals. [:P]

Wasn’t this song originally intended for a Ministry side project (Boxset or some weird name)? I seem to recall you mentioning this in your book.

Not sure to understand what it’s about but it’s one of my favourite.
It’s actually my nick name on another board.
you will never believe
Awww, Chris thats one of my favorites, I don’t know how you could have done a better job… I mean no one else could say “deliver your neurotic flesh from eeeeeeeeevil!” like you did.
Amazing song.

Amazing song.
me too.
I’ve always considered it one of my favorites off that album actually. Shame chris doesn’t dig it as much.
Never Believe kicks ass…the vocals and lyrics sound fine to me…the music sounds…DEVASTATINGLY DEVASTATING!!!
Never Believe and Cannibal song are two of my faves. Songs i had always wished i could hear live.
didn’t happen for me. has it ever?

NO. They’ve NEVER been played live.
Most of Ministry’s catalogue hasn’t been touched live.
We could like form a Ministry cover band and put on
a cooler show than…well…you know…
Never Believe would’ve been mosh mania.
Cannibal Song would’ve been live if they’d added crushing guitars with the Bass.
I always thought Never Believe was straight up Lard action. The drum sound is classic Ministry flavour and was what was missing from their last two albums.
