so I was lacking in my ministry collection because I refused to pay 30 for the Xmas single. Well, my sweet wife bought it for me the other day.
not that I’m not happy she did this for me because I am but let me break the deets down for everyone.
1 3 track cd single in a crappy digipak. hand numbered at 201 of 300 and autographed by Al.
I do like the Xmas song. I’d heard it once before and wasn’t impressed, but for some reason it sounds better than what I remember being released.
Honestly, the Xmas song sounds like “end of the movie” music to a John Hughes film, where everything has worked out for everyone. maybe it’s the way I have my equalizer set but for the most part the vocals are buried and don’t seem too heavily distorted. Not too impressed with walkie talkie or voices in my head
1 leopard print Santa hat that came from the Oriental Trading Company (the tag is on the inside of the hat) that would only fit on a child’s head. I can squeeze my noggin into a 6 7/8 hat, it’s tight and uncomfortable but I can do it. I can’t even get this Santa hat completely on my head.
1 big ass tin cup that’s supposed to be a shot glass, that has the Buck Satan logo painted on it with a big ass MADE IN CHINA sticker on the bottom.
I love my wife for buying me what I wouldn’t by myself!!!

sorry, dude, my sharing days are over, just based on how sue happy people are now-a-days. Especially with how desperate the Jourgensens appear to be for cash 100$ tickets??? 500$ vip seats?? not putting a fucking target on my back.

His Ministry collection would be defined as not just Ministry releases but anything by key members as well. RevCo, Pailhead, PTP, Lead Into Gold, Pigface, etc. Al’s solo stuff would fall in as well.
I only say this because I used to be a Dead Kennedys collector and my collection had the same loose parameters . . . . it was my obsession with both Jello and Rigor Mortis at the time that actually brought me to Ministry (via ICYDFLSU which had Biafra and Scaccia or course).
