I haven’t listened to Marilyn Manson since Holywood, but I have to say his new song Raise the Red Flag is a banger. Fair play to him.

These allegations are just a culture clash. He was dating women who were too young for him who grew up on hashtags and third/fourth-wave feminism he didn’t know anything about. Plus Illma Gore is a grifter who knows a cash cow when she sees one.

One of Wood’s claims is Manson threatened to leak photos of her dressed as Hitler. So he’s the bad guy, you’re not the bad guy for dressing as Hitler in the first place? Spare me.

Yeah, I thought that tune Red Flag was pretty good.

I notice wikipedia still has a page for Marilyn Manson the band. It hasn’t been a band in 15+ years. At what point is it the singer with a revolving door of assistants.

I agree with all the above. The “allegations” sound so dramatic until you use critical thinking and some discernment and then you realize it’s a bunch of coked out actresses who fell out of his orbit looking to cash in on their retroactive “repressed memory traumas” that their woke feminist therapists have unlocked for them, all spearheaded by a man-hating lesbian grifter (Ilma Gore) with a history of scams…

It’s a modern day Satanic Panic at its finest.

As far as the new singles, I think they’re pretty good but not excellent. This comeback is a bit clean, produced and commercal sounding…but I understand why he went in this new polished direction rather than rehash the raw sound of the glory days. Still, it’s mising some genuine grit.

So far I’m giving this era a 7 out of 10, but I think he’s much better live now that he’s sober and not so bloated.

I’ve known them since the beginning… for fs sake before they were close to being signed they had a “very overweight woman “ in a diaper in a baby crib on stage. !
Brian jumped into the audience all the time and … well
So… everyone ( labels, management, etc know exactly what they were getting…
