My Fallwell/ Robertson response to the Superbowl

God is a Liberal and he was so mad at Manning’s silly commercial he smote his team and made him lose!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
God I hate football and their stereo typical jack ass fans!
God I’m glad the season is over!

Well… I enjoyed it.

I didn’t sleep for like three days previous, then ate a bunch of carne asada and knocked back a few beers during the game. Needless to say, all factors caught up with me and I passed out until this morning.

Massive win to Icepick [laugh]

While I’m happy for the city of New Orleans I gotta agree with grumpysmurf here, football fans are for the most part some of the biggest jackasses in the country, and the stupid-bowl is such a god awful orgy of commercialism, sexism and retarded half-time nonsense with mediocre, has been arena rockers playing.

Good riddance to football. Onward to the Stanley Cup playoffs and come spring our sacred American tradition of baseball!

Don’t you love shit like that? And you wake up andusually don’t know where you are at first, then what day it is, and finally if it’s in the am or pm.
It’s the little things in life.

Really! How sad is the game when people readily admit that they look forward more to the commercials than they do the game. Fuck I start tv programs 15 minutes late so I can dvr past those fuckers! “hey, great, they’re gonna try to sell us some crap by having a funny story! YaY!!” [rolleyes]

He he, I thought I was the only one that did that! [:)]

I skipped the whole thing. Pro sports do nothing for me. I like a good college basketball or football game, though.

the wife and I only watched the last 1:34 and that was cause I was curious as to the score. other than that, that was probably the most football we watched all season.

Sounds like me EVERY morning. Haha. And I usualy get a kick out of the commercials. They’re usually funny. But I mainly watched for the game. Just an intermission to kinda look forward to I guess.

I too hate the commercial marathon that the superbowl carries. And hey, my Cowboys weren’t in it so didn’t really care.

psshhh superbowl commercials? people are fucking stupid.

I’m a big Bengals fan for some reason? Have been since about 87 mainly because I used to buy shitloads of comics and fangoria/gorezone mags at this awesome shop in Sydney called Kings Comics that also had NFL cards that my mate and I eventually started buying too.

I think the main reason I liked the Bengals was due to their uniform and the fact they made the Superbowl the year after in 88 with players like Boomer Esiason, Icky Woods, James Brooks, David Fulcher and Anthony Munoz who for some reason I still remember?

After a few years I sort of lost interest but still check to see how the Bengals are doing…which 99% of the time is terrible!

The Superbowl ad thing is pretty insane…I checked nfl.com to see who won the Superbowl yesterday morning and there was a link where you could watch the Superbowl ads??? Friggin weird!

A Yankee friend of mine once informed me that real football fans in America like the college circuit and generally disregard the NFL. I can’t say though, am unfamiliar. I did try and watch the Superbowl a few years ago and it was terrible, I couldn’t stick it out. It seemed like every minute they would stop play on purpose so they could throw on some ads. No fanks.

I watch a little college football…just to check the score for my university. Other than that I’m not a huge football fan. As for the super bowl, you think that they would have thrown a flag for too much commercial time.

I should mention I apparently passed out right in the middle of “Baba O’Reily.”
