A year ago, the Nursing Home Band filmed and released the music video for “M.W.A.T”. For the anniversary, I am happy to present the video again in a remastered form, with updated video quality, new imagery and a remastered audio mix of the song featuring new drum programming.
I think this updated version sheds light on the symbolism and political ideology of the video. Originally written in 2006, this song was inspired by the Jyllands-Posten cartoon controversy. Since its creation, it has been misinterpreted by nearly everyone we have played it for.
