Hello Everyone!
sorry for the silence. it’s been busy around here!
wanted to update y’all on what is going on, but first want to apologize to the pissants who have sent me private messages. for some reason, i am unable to post replies to y’all. i will work it out with afra and get back to you soon.

Well, first off, Al just completed a re-mix of The Melvins/Jello Biafra project, a track entitled: “Enchanted Fist Thought.” Then he was working on some interesting theme songs for two TV shows. Al calls it “cop rock.” I’ll tell you more about this if/when these projects move forward.

Next up, Al is producing a young musician, songwriter, producer from Detroit Spyder Baby (see [url “http://www.spyderbaby.net),/”]www.spyderbaby.net), and just finished a remix of a track entitled “Bitter.”

Then, Mr. Gibby Haynes came to Hell Paso for a spell, and he and Al and Mike Scaccia and Ginger Baker (ooops I mean Mark Baker) worked together in the studio for 10 days. It was awesome! I’ll keep you posted on where all of that will lead as things unfurl themselves.

Unfortunately, our agent in Europe could not make a tour happen for Ministry this summer, which totally SUCKS and bummed me out for quite a while, but everything happens for a reason, and it looks like Al will spend the summer in the studio working on some new stuff for a couple of projects, so it is all good.

In the next little while, Ministry Evil Doer Tour swag will be available at the eStore, so if you missed us on tour in the States, you will still have a chance to capture the T-Shirt. ha ha!

And what a FANTASTIC tour it was, and we are so grateful to all of the pissants who came out and showed their support of Ministry, and to everyone who made it backstage, or the tour bus to say hello and introduce yourselves. We are especially grateful to the pissants who volunteered to man the voter registration booths at each show. You REALLY made a difference and we are very proud of the enthusiasm of our pissants who responded to this call to arms.

We cannot WAIT to get back on the road again, but it won’t probably be until next year, the Year of the Dog (which is Al’s chinese astrological sign).

2005 is showing itself to be a great year, and after all, it is the Year of the Cock (and that’s all I’m gonna say for right now).

So between Cocks and Dogs, you shall be hearing and seeing more of Al.

Miss you guys…thank you for being a part of our dysfunctional functioning rock n roll family!

luv,
mrsjay

i’m still cracking up over that one. anyway, the 49 Chevy is a fantastic car, but it just could take Al’s need for speed. Al got himself a Viper (V10 and 6 gears 100 mph in 2nd gear) and was forthwith quite bored of the Coupe. It went to a young Ministry fan in Albequerque and is in very good hands now, happy to say.

Al and I never did the eBay thing before, so it was all a very new experience for us, very positive, and kind of a cool way to sell a car!

So there is the skinny on that.

luv,
mrsjay

There’s some posts by mrs jay…go check it out!

I’m just wondering how much of that is an April Fools thing, if any…

I had heard about the Melvins/Jello thing… Have no clue about this Spyder Baby thing… Wondering if Gibby and everyone else she mentioned is going to be for a RevCo thing or what… And I can’t wait for new Cocks, even if it is Prune Tang style.

And I’m wondering… since Al and Jello were working together, and she did mention “other projects”, does that mean we might also be getting some new Lard? I heard the rumour that it might happen, but I’m pretty skeptic…

“crackin up”

“skinny”

She’s just messing with our heads!

(I would love to see Gibby involved on a cocks track. He’s tailor-made to be in Revco…)

Cocks tour?

This Summer?

Shuh right.

I dunno… She might not be messing with us TOO bad, but I don’t think any of it’s going to happen as soon as any of us would like…

I didn’t even catch those “crakin’ up” and “skinny” comments until you pointed them out… Makes me kinda wonder…

I know that Al and SP prolly won’t be doing anything together for a while… Al told me that himself last time I talked to him… Something about the SP management team were being dicks and wanting more money/sales/representation than Ministry was to have and Al was ill as hell knowing that Ministry can sell out a place quicker than SP can any day (no offense to all the SP fans here as I am one too, but in all reality it is the truth!)…

And yeah… Gibby is tailor made for RevCo… Would be really fun to see him sign on for an album and tour with the Cocks… =)

Looks like we’ll have to wait until next year until we see anything from the Ministry camp, which is fine by me. If there are only going to be a few albums left from Al, might as well space them out a bit.

I didn’t think anybody on this was board was even anticipating the new Cocks lp!!! I mean, the leaked tracked did get fairly negative reviews (yeah, well I guess it thoroughly deserved it tho’).

Gibby Haynes would definitely be like a shot in the arm (no pun intended) to the Ministry camp. They need something or someone to kickstart their engines after a lacklustre (in my opinion anyway) couple of releases.

I don’t know about you but I’ve been anticipating a new Cocks release ever since I heard Prunetang… And although it did get fairly negative reviews I quite liked it. I mean, no it’s not what the rest of the stuff the Cocks did sounded like but when have we ever relied on Al to do the same thing over and over again (except with some of these new releases, which while not bad are still not the greatest stuff he’s ever done)…

And yeah… Gibby would definately add some spice back to the Cocks camps. I just wonder who all else is going to be signing on board for this one… I really hope Luc comes back.
