I went to McDonalds and they sold me a burger - I found it very insulting!
This album hasn’t even been leaked.
Doesn’t that speak volumes in itself ?
I wanna be a cowboy. And you can be my cowgirl.
“Howdy!”

Just found a leaked copy of this online.
And…ugh.
Some of the most uninspired remixing of Ministry ever. Most songs just have minor elements tweaked here and there. Don’t waste your money.
Meh, I’d rather spend $13 on the CD than risk downloading a computer virus. Unfortunately the CD still hasn’t reached stores in Canada yet, the Sony distributor here hasn’t even received the shipment from 13th Planet. [crazy]
Mark Prindle’s silly “review”: http://markprindle.com/ministra.htm#mixxxes
Still not available in Canada, so I went to order it from 13th Planet… they want a minimum of $8.44 for shipping! I compared it to the shipping cost to order one CD from the KMFDM Store, and that was only $4.03. I know I’m unlikely to really miss $4 a few months from now, but its the principle of it!
I finally own this on CD. In case anyone is wondering, the packaging is a mere cardboard sleeve in the style of Sex-O MiXXX-O or Power of the DamnMiXXXer, rather than a plastic tray digipack in the style of Rio Grande Dub Ya or The Last Dubber. Inside photo is an old wild west-style photo of three seated men, two with their faces censored by bars, and the middle one with Al’s face wearing a large sombrero.
Al’s credits are kind of interesting.
SPECIAL THANKS: ERIE LOCH, PINKY, ANGELINA JOUGENSEN…
Pinky? Wasn’t that his nickname for Chris back in the early '90s?
I think so - “Pinky, I like Pinky. Hee hee hee, pink you stink, I wear pink drawers, stupid motherfucker.”
Wonder if he and Chris are talking or if there’s a new “Pinky” in Al’s life.
I was at amoeba and picked it up yesterday. the internet music players don’t do it justice, but still probably wasn’t necessary. The actual cd isn’t as choppy as it sounds on the myspace previews. I’ll give it a couple more spins and probably shelve it.
Also picked up Cramps Bad music for bad people. Loving it!
Was going to pick up some swans too cause everybody here is so ga ga over them but they didn’t have anything in the used bin except angels of light (Off shoot group of swans?) or something along those lines and a “featuring jarbo” album so I passed
Found houses of the Hole for 7 bucks too. found out I know a lot more of that album than I though!
Picked up the dark crystal on blue ray for 5 bucks as well as Land of the dead for 8 bucks (needed a good zombie bluray flick)

It amazes me folk still pay money for the crap this guy pumps out?
Chris came here not long ago and mentioned he spoke to Al when Raven died.
Fuck the soap opera shit tho.

It’s Gira’s project from between the Swan’s breakup and reformation. It’s a sort of apocalyptic folk thing.

All the Angels Of Light stuff is brilliant…all of it is essential.
The Angels Of Light/Akron Family Split Album is incredible.
Just finished up the album… most songs run on for 3 minutes or so longer
than thy should but really warp city was worth the price of admission! That remix is sweet! they gave it this slowed down dirge feel with some piano, that song will get some decent rotation from me!
There’s another song right after warp city that sounds like the “fuck u like an animal” nin beat, but it goes on for like 6 minutes uuuugh! Other than warp city I don’t think anything anybody here may be interested in.

I picked up this album, figured it was a different remixxxer and that I should give it a surprise. Definitely one of the better remix CDs. The piano in Worm is awesome. But nothing tops Mixxxo.
