On the “Thieves” Song, the Samples, “Huuugh” and “Praaay” that come in the first 10 seconds,(and then sporadically through out the rest of the song) also come from FULL METAL JACKET But are not listed in the samples section? Were they over looked or just not known where they came from? Also, the “I want Peace” and the “You Want Peace” samples that come at the end of the song came from a Ronald Reagen speech (the “tear down this wall speech” if I’m not mistaken) But the great communicator isn’t listed either on the samples page. What’s the scoop?

Yeah, that’s probably the most un-updated page on this site. Perhaps Afra or I will get to doing an overhaul of that one someday.
I didn’t bother to see if it was there, but the “Something Wonderful…” line in Something Wonderful was spoken by David Bowman in 2010. It’s the only sample I’ve ever recognized on my own except for The Violent Years…they must watch some really obscure shit to get under my radar!
Yeah, an overhaul would be nice, I’m genuinely curious about a lot of that stuff.
“I ain’t afraid of no fuckin’ skulls…altars n’ shit.”
we should update it here that way all you moderator guys have to do is cut and paste! is it that simple to just cut and paste? There is a sample from Linger Ficken Good (The Actual Song) that is missing as well. When the lady comes on and says “I want this thing stopped” that’s from the movie Altered States. It’s towards the end of the movie when the dudes wife finds out what is going on!

Yeah, post anything you have to add to this thread. When I get a chance, I’ll update it. Thanks for the info!
Ha, thats rad, cool site dude.
I rented “River’s Edge” recently and noticed a couple from that film:
The honking sound in ‘T.V. III’ is Dennis Hopper playing the saxophone.
The “Woooo-hoooo!” in ‘Step’ is Christian Glover freaking out when he finds his friend’s body.
