So I’ve been scouring Pissarmy to find an old post where I tabbed out “So What” to help Krowe out a little bit and I’ve run into these fun to read threads on the Rants section. there is this one where this one guy has a Digital Picture of his collection and he lists all of them and there are three that have covers that he lists as:
clitour- live bootleg
fournactour- live bootleg 2003 at fillmore
fournactour- live bootleg 2003 backroom austin tx- gibby sings jesus
ANy info? Are these Cdrs that he made covers for or are they legitmate pressings? I’d ask but ya know… banned and all…
Heres the link…
The same guy lists teh Twitch Rehersals (which was only actually sold as a cassette back in the 80s) in his collection. That coupled withthe fact that the Fillmore and Austin shows are well-circulated boots , I’d say these are most likely cdrs.

i have it in wma format. ripped from the cassette tape, horrible quality, basically they rehearse and play some twitch songs, no devotion and attack ships on fire several times.
Yes, both takes of I See Red. There’s some pretty bad sound bleed-through as it’s cassette sourced, but it has historical value just because you get to hear Al, Bill, and the Barkers begin to work together. Some of the studio chatter between/during songs is funny, too.
Both versions of I See Red and the version of Attack Ships On Fire with Al on vocals are all from the Twitch demos/rehersals. So here’s the story on these, as far as I can tell: These have made the rounds as a cassette bootleg since the late 80’s. Here’s the cover to my copy. Not sure if it’s an original or not, but it looks pretty similar to other poor-quality 1980’s Italian cassette bootlegs that I’ve tracked down:
Additionally, not listed on the tracklist are 2 versions on Halloween just after Just Like You. As someone else brought up, these are rehersals from the Twitch tour. Most are incomplete takes, as the band gets something wrong and starts over frequently. The mix is a little odd, with Rieflin very loud and Al very quiet. There’s also a bad bleed over of several With Sympathy tracks during the first few tracks. Puzzling at first, but then, years later, I managed to obtain a copy of a second tape. The setlist was somewhat similar, though with many more takes of I See Red. In the middle of this tape were appended 4 With Sympathy Demos (the demo version of Revenge that we had up a while back on the site was one). These appear to be the tracks that bleed through on the first tape. So the origins are still murky, but they do appear to have been a 2-90 minute tape set at one point that someone dubbed in a crappy way, so as to bleed through.
