I never pay attention much to the backing videos anyway. I’m too busy rocking out. If I do stand still long enough to pay attention to something, I’d rather be able to see the guys on stage, not some picture of George Bush with a Hitler mustache and LIAR stamped on his face, interspersed with footage of meat factories and nuclear explosions . . . . we’ve seen it all, thank you.
Saw it last week, it’s typical Ministry, lots of news footage cut together. I liked it, but i’m sure i won’t be seeing it again until whenever i see them live.
The biggest takeaway for me from seeing/hearing this?
The unfortunate reality that Fairly Unbalanced will be in the setlist.
i think he already said they’re doing the full album.
and sin said a filth pig song or two. which if happens, fuck you since i didn’t get one on the “career spanning setlist that will hit every album” from the first final tour.
Yeah, if I was to place a bet, I’m thinking 90% chance they do NOT end up making good on the promise to do the full FBTE album.
If they only pick a few cuts, SHAME ON THEM for making “Fairly Unbalanced” one of them. Definitely one of my least favorite on the album. Music-wise it’s pretty standard nu-Ministry fare. But topically and lyrically . . . . it’s another 99 Percenters/ Get Out And Vote.
I’m just so sick of Al picking this low hanging fruit and continuing on with the . . . . “Conservatives are bad, mmmmkay? Republicans are bad, mmmmkay?” schtick.

Ministry: “No official set-list has been announced for FBTE Tour.”
I’ll be sad if we don’t get “Change of Luck” live, but it is the kind of atypical Ministry song that would get cut if they don’t do the whole album.
Yeah, “Change of Luck” and “Thanks But No Thanks” are the real standouts for me on that album . . . . I’ll be surprised if we get either.

There’s a squarespace, supposedly run by Al (when we all know it isn’t), yet endorsed by Al
there’s a personal Facebook where he rants and raves and gives out info, Ministry or not like setlist info, tour dates etc
and there’s a Ministry facebook not ran by Al but yet has info not posted by Al or even when it does its contradictory to what he says.
For example, the “Anything” track that was put up - he’s obviously endorsing it, but is he aware that they’re chatting up With Sympathy on his band FB? and the fact that he says FBTE will be played in full yet the band FB contradicts this…
