Ministry Shows - Opening Song

To all of you who went to one of Ministry’s C-U-Latour shows, does anyone know the title of the song that’s played right before they jump on stage (before they start playing “Let’s go”)?

It sounds a bit electronic, like Twitch’s style, and there’s really not many lyrics, but it sounds awesome! In Montreal the spots were synced with the song and all, so even if the band wasnt on stage yet, well it’s gotta be a Ministry song.

Thanks,

Don’t know the title yet but it’s from the upcoming RevCo album. Everybody digs this one, can’t wait to hear the album.

I met Sin before the show, and he told me it’s called “I’m Not Gay.” Makes sense, since you hear that in the song. It is by Revolting Cocks.

One of the lyrics seems to be “It’s hard to be a rebel in the U.S.A.” Gee, Al really likes putting “in the U.S.A.” in his lyrics.

…because it ispumped with vowels…a great oppurtuninty to turn A into AAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAA-AAAA-AAAAY-YOW!

“I’m Not Gay”?

Sounds rather Durst-esque to me.

More like Tom Cruise[cool]

hahaha ah… limp bizkit…

nut no, i thin it’s cool i mean i’m sure the disco sounds and a name like the revolting cocks sounds… well… gay… to most people…

I’m sure the lyrics are sub-literate juvenalia.
I have no problem with this.
The music sounds like Worbeck’s stab at writing a Big Sexyland era RevCo song.
I also have no problem with this.

cocks were always the party band.
somebody’s gotta do it, considering the current state of affairs(ministry and otherwise internationally)
i don’t ultimately care who writes/works on the material, as long as it’s cool.(and “al” pays everyone and gives credit where credit is due)
it’d be interesting to hear alain for once in his current state, acknowledge anyone else’s input. it’s always me me me. that gets real old real fast, except to those currently new babes working WITH and writing FOR him( highness).

Seems to me Al’s better at actually assigning co-writing credit than a lot of other musicians. That’s the credit that counts (and pays) so I don’t know what the complaint is. I know there’s some lawsuit about how much of the royalties go to who but that could have been avoided early simply by taking all the credit and going through band members more quickly. Plenty of other bands have done just that. Of course Special Kay doesn’t have the “in” on those bands so can’t sound cool bitching about them.

Word UP.

you’d be surprised by what “Special Kay” has the “in” on.or maybe not.
(love the efforts at the renaming, btw.)
you’re obviously a baby at how the music business actually works and how songsplits get doled out.

I like to believe the lyrics are a reference to Al claiming that he’s not an F-A-G. (even though he would later claim “Me, I love men.”)

Obviously directed toward his mum and his dad.

that opening song was worse than Hitler!
my 2 cents…
