I just acquired a copy of Foetus’ “Flow” and I noticed that the beginning of the opening track “Quick Fix” samples “Corrosion.”
Thought that was pretty cool.

Far from my favorite but very high up for me. This is easy to answer. Have you actually paid attention to how many people on this forum listen to and LOVE their “noise” (for example, oh, I don’t know, MERZBOW)…?

Merzbow’s pretty cool. I haven’t listened to much, considering the sheer size of Akita’s discography, but what I’ve listened to makes my mind happy and my eardrums bleed.
I really dig “Amlux.” That album goes from making me want to kill things to wanting to just zone out and back again. “Looping Jane” is an awesome track, and probably my favorite Merzbo track so far.
Akita’s collab with Genesis P-Orridge on “A Perfect Pain” is fucking creepy. No lie. Straight-up ritualistic slaughter music right there.
