At the risk of posting Ministry stuff…
“We’re tired”… YUP! (Still better than Relapse material IMO)

Isn’t this song just “Crumbs” but . . . . well, yeah, not as good, and with terrible vocals? Certainly not one of my favorites of the new batch.
LMAOOO WOW. I usually shy away from new ministry, and for good reason. The vocals sound so uninspiriring and lazy.
It’s crap and his vocals are terrible…however it’s the closest thing to sounding like Ministry for many years. I haven’t bothered with buying Relapse let alone the million remixxx albums…however I may buy this new album…then burn it on iTunes then sell it immediately on eBay![cool]
Maybe with someone producing it… Different drums and vocals… more abrasive guitar sound… more claustrophobic landscapes…
They recycle some good ideas but don’t deliver quite well, at least for my taste.

Sums it pretty well. You can tell they thought about older sounds. But, it just feels lazy.
If someone can find me a vocalist example in any metal genre that sounds as stupid as Al’s performance in “Permawar” I’ll buy you lunch. No joke-metal either. I absolutely hate how he draws out the last word of each line, like he wants to give it this vomitous edge that will appeal to…somebody?
What else can be said about the music being uninspired…I think the addition of harmonica is solid but it’s hardly its saving grace when drowned out by these guitars. That’s the thing too, the guitars aren’t necessarily horrible. Just generic and suffer from this sterile/digital sound that plagues a lot of modern metal (ie: almost any band on Metal Blade or Century Media). I’ll shut up now.
Unlike a lot of metal vocalists, Al actually has a good natural singing voice. Too bad he doesn’t use it anymore.

Yeah totally…it’s completely infuriating that he insists on recording stupid goofy vocals when his records at this stage wod sound a million times better with a clean vocal.
And yeah I totally think the digital age has killed the production values of Ministry sound.
Goddamn, if there’s anyone who can make both live and programmed drums sound tiny and like shit it’s Al or whoever has been programming/engineering them on the last few albums.
The song is also way too fucking long considering how obviously uninspired it is.
it’s still better than the first 2 lp by ministry.
Just finished Al’s book and he was saying some of the stuff on the upcoming album is Dub and runs circles around King Tubby and Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound material! Hahaha…Al really is away with the birds!
Al’s version (excuse the pun!) of Dub Reggae will be like Dee Dee Ramone’s version of Hip Hop I imagine hahaha
If Al does prove me wrong I will not only buy the cd and KEEP it but also the vinyl!!!

No, it isn’t. Anything off of Twitch shits all over this generic garbage. The first song on that album alone is better than anything he’s released in the last 6 years.

Late,

You know it is so.
Seriously, motion is passed, on to new business…
This track is frustrating me upon second listen because it’s a step in the right direction…it would have been possible for it not to have been bad…

Serious question - what about this is a step in the right direction? Because it sounds to me like it’s going in the exact same directions as everything he’s put since after HOTM.
